This Privacy Policy explains how Built4Padel (hereinafter “we” or “our”) collects, uses and protects the personal data provided by visitors to the website https://built4padel.com. We build padel courts and coverings (tents) and provide on this site a contact form for requesting quotes. By using our website, visitors accept the terms of this policy.

1. Controller

We are responsible for processing the personal data collected on this website.  The main contact for privacy matters is geral@built4padel.com.

2. Data collected

We only collect the information that visitors choose to provide when using the “Request Quote” contact form. The categories of data collected are:

  • Name – so that we can address you;

  • Email address – so that we can respond to your request;

  • Mobile phone number – if we need to contact you by telephone;

  • Message – additional information about the project you intend to carry out.

We do not collect or store sensitive data.  According to the GDPR, a clear explanation must be provided of how the data is collected and processed and what the user’s rights are .

3. Purpose and legal basis

The data is used to prepare and send a quotation, respond to the questions submitted and, where applicable, to follow up on your request.  The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which is given when you submit the form.  In addition to being forwarded to our email, the data is recorded in our internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system so that we can better manage requests and follow you through the decision‑making process. 

4. Data retention

Data is retained only for the time necessary to respond to your request and to manage the business relationship.  When stored in our CRM, the data is reviewed periodically and will be deleted or anonymised if it is not used for 12 months, except where there is a legal obligation requiring it to be kept for a longer period.  The data subject may request deletion at any time.

5. Data sharing

Data is not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.  We may share data with service providers who help us manage email, host the website or provide the CRM platform.  These entities process the data only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR; we require them to guarantee confidentiality and data protection.  We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area, except if the CRM provider uses servers outside the EU, in which case we will ensure that adequate safeguards exist (such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

6. Cookies and browsing data

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience.  Cookies are small files that store information in the user’s browser; European legislation requires visitors to be informed about the use of cookies and to be able to give or withdraw their consent .  We use strictly necessary cookies for the functioning of the site and performance cookies for anonymous statistics.  Users can change their cookie preferences via their browser settings or the consent banner, where applicable.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the following rights:

  • Objection – to oppose the processing of data for marketing purposes (not applicable on this site, as we do not send marketing without prior request).
